Smashing Sixes Since September 1981

Welcome to the Jan Juc Sharks Cricket Club, where the echoes of cricketing history have resonated since our founding in 1981.

Nestled in the heart of Jan Juc, our club stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the sport. With senior teams proudly representing us in the men’s Bellarine Cricket Association and women’s Barwon’s Cricket Association, the Sharks boast a legacy of excellence on the pitch. But our commitment to cricket extends beyond age and gender, as we nurture the talent of tomorrow with vibrant junior teams for both girls and boys.

Our home ground, the iconic Bob Petit Reserve in Jan Juc, serves as the hallowed turf where dreams take shape and victories unfold. Join us during the season, and you’ll find our club rooms open on Thursday nights for hearty meals post-training, and on Saturday afternoons and nights, where the camaraderie off the pitch is as legendary as the battles on it.

Embrace the roar of the crowd, the thrill of competition, and the warmth of our cricketing family – welcome to the Jan Juc Sharks experience!

Player Registrations

The club has been busy with Cricket Victoria with the move to PlayHQ for club administration and player registrations. The following are a few points with this process:

  • Registrations will be done through PlayHQ. This brings Cricket Australia to the same platform as basketball/AFL/Netball.
  • Cricket Australia include a mandatory fee for each player registered. This fee covers insurance and platform administration. The amount is set by Cricket Australia.
  • The club is unable to register players. This must be completed by the player or guardian of the player.

All players:

  • Must have their CricketID number – note this is NOT the same as your MyCricket ID) to be able to register.
  • Must register before their first game
  • The registration process is very simple. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any difficulties with the process.

The following is an introduction video from Cricket Australia and PlayHQ.
